Little 11-ish Luna says: “Ah, my sister’s bed is so comfy, Mom…”

I say 11-ish because we do not know her actual birthday; we rescued her from a high-kill shelter in Los Angeles in 2014. She might be older or younger. She is wise. She tumbles down steps these days, but can also take long walks. She cannot see in the dark, but it never stops her. She’s missing teeth, and she eats in gulps. And, she naps. And naps. A lot.

And so can you. That is the Friday Fun Party this week.

Nap.

It is good for all of us to get a bit of extra rest in these dark months. No guilt required. No special tools, although a cozy blanket or a comfy couch helps. Yes, or your sister’s bed…
